CRUX Designs a.k.a Christie Rossiter User Experience Designs (see what I did there?) was set up with one goal in mind: making sure technology works for people.
As a British multi-disciplinary designer with a decade of experience supporting marginalised communities, I understand that the digital landscape can be a confusing, unhelpful, and exclusionary space. I am interested in getting to the crux of every problem, then solving it in a way that is most useful for the user.
I know great digital design goes beyond extensive research and beautiful UI components. It’s built with an intrinsic knowledge of human psychology and user issues, requiring an inclusive and accessible approach. I feel passionately about people being seen, valued, and heard. By appreciating differences and understanding diversity, I build designs both cognisant and celebratory of the broad human experience.
When I’m not ‘cruxing’, I’m filling my boots (and ears) with all things music. From DJing and attending gigs, to singing karaoke or curating the perfect playlist music fuels my creativity.
